LOCAL COMMUNITIES AT THE CENTER

WORKING WITH BARBUDAN LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Smart Energy implemented a high scale Hybrid Solar-Battery-Diesel Plant enabling to power the entire grid of the Barbuda Island, namely over 2500 people. More than the energetic and environmental impact, Smart Energy focuses on the involvement and training of local populations.

PROVIDING SOLAR ENERGY TO MAYAN COMMUNITIES

Located in the south of Belize, and close to the historic Mayan site of Nim Li Punit, the Belize Rural Electrification Project aims at providing clean and affordable energy to the population of three Mayan villages. The project aims at working, training and collaborating with local populations.
